Thermal baths in Czechia

Only a few Czech spas have truly warm water. In Teplice the Pravřídlo spring rises at 42 °C and fills the public THERMALIUM pool at 35 °C; Velké Losiny below the Jeseníky has a thermal park on the sulphurous Žerotín spring; Janské Lázně in the Krkonoše has a pool on its warm springs.

Elsewhere the water is cold and heated for bathing: sulphur springs at Ostrožská Nová Ves and Slatinice, iodine-bromine brine from deep wells at Hodonín and Karviná, the mineral springs of Luhačovice. Most of these are treatment spas where a day visitor buys entry to a pool or a wellness floor.
