Tereziny lázně

Tereziny lázně is a medicinal spa in the town of Dubí, on the southern slope of the Ore Mountains (Krušné hory) at an elevation of 420 metres. The site states it lies 5 km from Teplice, 90 km from Prague and 50 km from Dresden, Germany. It presents itself as a fully barrier-free facility gathering its services under one roof, focused on the rehabilitation of disorders of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems.

History

According to the spa, it was founded in 1870 by Dr. Brecher as a hydrotherapy institute ("Vodoléčebný ústav") and looks back on more than 150 years of history in medical rehabilitation.

Healing resources

The spa cites two therapeutic resources: peat (rašelina) and Vincentka mineral water. It describes its carbonated bath therapy (a bath saturated with carbon dioxide) as being carried out in water at a temperature of 28 to 34 °C.
