Thermalpark DS

Thermalpark Dunajská Streda is a year-round thermal resort in southern Slovakia, set on Gabčíkovská cesta in the town of Dunajská Streda. It combines indoor and outdoor bathing, a sauna world, wellness and massage facilities, several accommodation options and poolside dining on a large lakeside site.

Thermal water & source

The resort's thermal water is drawn from a well reaching a depth of 1,600 metres, emerging at temperatures of up to 57°C. The water is rich in sodium and bicarbonates and is described as soft, with low calcium and magnesium content.

Pools & attractions

The complex operates nine pools in total, five outdoor and four indoor, mixing thermal and spring water at a range of temperatures.

Outdoor: Italian Pool with jacuzzi (spring water, 28-30°C), exterior Rotunda (thermal, 36-39°C, year-round), Relaxation Pool (thermal, 34-36°C, year-round), Recreation Pool (thermal, 27-30°C), Kids Pool (spring water, 30-32°C) and the Big Fun Pool (spring water, 26-28°C)
Indoor: Wellness Pool (spring water, 30-33°C), interior Rotunda (thermal, 36-39°C), Indoor Recreation Pool (spring water, 27-28°C) and a BABY kids' pool (spring water, 29-31°C)

Sauna & wellness

The Sauna World offers three saunas - Finnish, infrared and bio - complemented by a steam cabin, salt cabin, jacuzzi and cooling pool. Regular sauna rituals (ceremonies) are held, and a newer Panorama sauna sits beside the lake. A dedicated massage centre provides a range of massages and treatments, including Balinese massage, to support physical health and mental wellbeing.

Family & kids

Families are catered for with dedicated children's and baby pools, a Big Fun Pool, animation and activity programmes, swimming lessons and recreational activities for all ages.

Dining

A spacious air-conditioned restaurant with a terrace serves seasonal local cuisine daily, alongside hot and cold drinks, cocktails and desserts. In summer, poolside outlets sell Hungarian lángos (fried bread), fried fish, sausages and burgers, plus a children's selection of potato spirals, corn, waffles, pancakes, trdelník and ice cream. Seasonal gastronomic events and festivals are held on the lake premises.

Accommodation

On-site and nearby lodging includes the three-star Hotel Thermalpark (with a congress hall for events), the quieter Hotel Campino, a camping area and several guest houses/pensions.
