Thermal Corvinus Veľký Meder

Thermal Corvinus stands at Promenádna 3221/20 in Veľký Meder, on the Žitný ostrov plain of south-western Slovakia, and is run by TERMÁL s.r.o. The website address given in the source list, thermalcorvinus.eu, belongs to a separate accommodation company (Hotel Thermal Varga s.r.o.) and its Veľký Meder page now returns a notice that the information has been moved or no longer exists; the operator's own site is thermalcorvinus.sk, which redirects to corvinustermal.sk, and everything below comes from there.

The bath is open all year. The operator describes itself as a celoročný termálny aquapark and states the complex holds 13 pools, split on the pools page into "6 letných a 7 termálnych bazénov" - six summer pools and seven thermal ones. The covered complex contains a family fun pool at 29-33 °C, a half-covered sitting pool at 36-38 °C, a recreation pool at 30-35 °C, an indoor pool at 27-31 °C, a bubble bath at 30-34 °C, an indoor swimming pool at 25-30 °C and an indoor children's pool with play elements at 27-31 °C. The outdoor area holds a swimming pool at 20-25 °C, an Italian pool at 25-28 °C, an outdoor children's pool with play elements at 27-31 °C, a pool with flowing water at 28-30 °C, a wave pool with a children's pool and a spray park at 28-30 °C, and a diving pool at 28 °C. At the time of reading the outdoor children's pool was marked Mimo prevádzky, out of operation; the rest were marked V prevádzke. Alongside the pools are a toboggan park, two year-round slides included in the admission, an animation programme, a year-round children's playground and water playground, a summer sports ground and themed children's castles.

The geothermal water comes from two boreholes 327 m apart. The operator states that it is drawn from depths of 1626-1675 m and 1720-1791 m (borehole Č 1) and 1073-1438 m (Č 2), that the water leaves the ground at 72 °C from Č 1 and 56 °C from Č 2, and that both are of a pronounced sodium-bicarbonate type with mineralisation of 1,098 mg/l and 798 mg/l respectively; the published analysis also gives bicarbonate at 763 and 540 mg/l, sodium at 301 and 224 mg/l, fluoride at 2.77 and 0.1 mg/l and metasilicic acid at 56.7 and 35.5 mg/l, with pH 7.46 and 7.86.

The Saunový svet and vital world hold an infrared, herbal, steam and Finnish sauna together with a salt chamber, a jacuzzi, a cooling pool, an ice fall and an experience shower, with a gallery above the rest room and services including massage, pedicure, manicure, cosmetics, fish pedicure, mud wraps and oxygen therapy; entry is limited to persons over 15 and the sauna is a swimsuit-free zone. The sauna pages were marked Mimo prevádzky when read, the operator stating that the sauna world ran until 31 May 2026 and that after the summer season it is planned to reopen from the second half of September. Its published hours are Monday to Friday 11:00-19:30 and Saturday to Sunday 10:00-19:30, with last entry at 18:30.

Bath opening hours are given as Po-Ne 09:00-20:00, with ticket sales until 19:00. The 2026 day prices are 13.00 EUR for three hours and 19.00 EUR for a day for an adult; 12.00 and 16.00 EUR for visitors over 62, children from 3 to 15 and disabled visitors; family packages from 30.00 EUR for three hours; bath plus three hours of sauna at 32.00 EUR; children under three free. Multi-day tickets with two entries a day are sold to guests staying in Veľký Meder for between two and seven days.
