Termálne kúpalisko Chalmová lies at Chalmová in the municipality of Bystričany, in the Upper Nitra (horná Nitra) mining region of central Slovakia. It is run by TERMAL CHALMOVÁ - BYSTRIČANY, s.r.o., a company of the municipality of Bystričany, with the registered address at the municipal office, M. Nešporu 1, 972 45 Bystričany. The domain www.chalmova.sk answers a short User-Agent with an HTTP 466 web-application-firewall block and serves normally to a full browser User-Agent; the pages below were read that way.

The site is not summer-only. Two covered regeneration pools stand indoors and the operator states they run all year, built directly over the thermal springs so that the hot thermal water rises straight into them; the water temperature is given as 32 to 34 °C in the cooler pool and 36 to 38 °C in the hot pool. The outdoor area, used in the summer season, holds two large pools: a swimming pool 25 metres long with water at 27-28 °C, and a recreation pool measuring 25 by 10 metres with water attractions such as a water mushroom and water jets at 28-29 °C, alongside a children's wading area of 13 by 2 metres where children may enter only with an adult. The ticket page notes that before the summer season opens the bathing ticket covers the two indoor pools and one outdoor pool when available.

The spring is described identically on the indoor and outdoor pool pages as a natural, medium-mineralised mineral water of 1,100 mg/l, of sulphate-bicarbonate, calcium-magnesium type, with raised fluorine content, weakly alkaline, hypotonic, and with a temperature of 24 to 40 degrees Celsius. The operator states on the home page that the water has been healing for more than a hundred years, but publishes no opening year and no borehole depth on the pages read, so neither is recorded here.

Indoor wellness rooms were completely rebuilt at the end of 2024, when an enlarged and renewed Finnish sauna and an entirely new infrared sauna were added; the relaxation zone has a cooling pool and an ice-water shower, loungers and cabins. Massage and alternative therapies are available by appointment from partner practitioners. A new gym and fitness centre operates on site, and the price list states the sauna is available all year, entered on the hour, with a minimum of three and a maximum of six people per hour, or up to fifteen for an organised group.

Published hours for the pools are Monday 9:00-18:00 and Tuesday to Sunday 9:00-19:00; the fitness room opens at 10:00 on Wednesday and Thursday and the sauna closes an hour earlier each day, at 17:00 on Monday and 18:00 on the other days. The hours page is headed as the winter season 2025/2026 while a news item of 23 June 2026 announced summer hours; the two sets of times given are the same, so the heading appears stale rather than contradictory, and both are recorded here. A notice dated 11 September 2026 states the bath will be closed on Monday 14 September 2026 for post-season maintenance. Admission is 9.00 EUR for an adult, 8.00 EUR for seniors and disabled visitors with an escort, 7.00 EUR for a child or student and 1.00 EUR for an infant; a Finnish or infrared sauna session of 120 minutes costs 11.00 EUR, bathing plus sauna 16.00 EUR for an adult, and a single fitness entry 2.50 EUR. Residents of Bystričany pay a reduced 4.50 EUR for adult bathing, and ten-entry passes are sold from 50.00 EUR.
