AquaRelax

AquaRelax is an indoor-outdoor water and wellness complex in Dolný Kubín, Slovakia, run by AQUA KUBÍN s.r.o. Its indoor Vodný svet holds a multifunctional relax pool 26 by 19 metres, 110-130 cm deep, at 32°C, under a glass pyramid, plus a children's pool at 32°C, a lazy river, a swing bay, an island, bubblers, a water mushroom, six massage jets, three massage showers, a six-person massage bench, two whirlpools at 36°C, heated benches, loungers, two slides including a double slide called Niagara, an AquaBar, and barrier-free access. A separate 25 by 15 metre swimming pool, 1.05-2.00 m deep, 27°C, with six lanes, is used for recreational and competitive swimming, competitions and swim-school lessons. The sauna world (Saunový svet) offers an infrared sauna, a Finnish sauna, an herbal steam sauna, a salt steam sauna and an aerosol sea bath, plus a cooling pool, a six-person whirlpool and a relaxation room; it runs October to May, with June and September openings weather-dependent. In summer, the outdoor Letná Aqua adds two pools on a grass lawn - a larger 25-metre pool at 28°C and a children's pool at 30°C - with loungers, a snack buffet, relax bags and a trampoline for kids. A restaurant and a massage centre are also on site.
