Galandia

Galandia (Vodny svet Galandia) is a water park in Galanta, Slovakia, at Kpt. Nalepku 43/2373. The operator names six pools: an indoor relaxation pool with a wild-river current at 28-30 C, an indoor hyperthermal rest pool at 34-36 C, an indoor children's pool with a fountain at 30-32 C, a pool running both indoors and outdoors at 26-32 C, a seasonal outdoor children's pool with a small slide at 26-32 C, and a seasonal outdoor swimming pool at 20-28 C. Slides include a year-round enclosed one ending in the indoor pool at 28-30 C, a large and a small outdoor slide both at 26-32 C, the wild-river current, and a children's spray park at 20-28 C. A sauna area called Saunovy svet has a Finnish dry sauna, stated at 80-100 C, a steam sauna at 40-50 C, and a cold-water plunge tub. There is a pirate-ship playground, an indoor kids corner, and a weekend and school-holiday animation program. The operator names no spring, borehole, or natural thermal source, only a link to pool-water analysis results, so despite the venue's branding the water is ordinary heated pool water, not confirmed thermal water. Admission is sold mainly as 10- or 20-visit passes or a monthly membership rather than single day tickets.
