Lipót Thermalbath and Spa

Lipótfürdő is a thermal and adventure bath at Lipót, in the Szigetköz on the Western Transdanubian plain of Hungary, 27 km from Győr and 15 km from Mosonmagyaróvár. It combines year-round thermal pools with a large summer beach section spread over ten hectares of grass.

The water

The venue describes a low-hardness sodium hydrogen-carbonate thermal water carrying fluoride, certified as medicinal water in 2004; sulphur dominates the analysis we hold. The pools are held at 35 °C. According to the venue the water suits wear-related joint disease, chronic inflammatory joint conditions, rheumatic complaints and movement problems after injury.

Pools

Two thermal pools sit alongside a swimming pool, children's paddling pools, a current channel, a bubble bath and an experience pool with massage features. The summer section adds a beach pool of 1,200 m², a wave pool and a water amusement park with giant slides.

Sauna and grounds

A water mill on its own island houses the sauna. The grass beach holds volleyball and football courts, table tennis, badminton and a playground, and massage is available on site.

Eating

There is a buffet, a restaurant, a pizzeria, a grill, a water bar and a café.

Visiting

The bath opens from 12:00 to 20:00. It is at Fő út 84 in Lipót.
