Strand Termal Sacuieni Bihor

Strand 66 is an open-air geothermal bathing complex in the town of Săcueni, Bihor County, Romania, built around the mineral-rich thermal waters of Săcueni set among generous green lawns and relaxation areas.

Geothermal water & source

The complex is fed by a natural thermal spring that reaches roughly 78°C at the surface. The water is mineral-rich, containing calcium, magnesium, manganese and iron along with chloride, bicarbonate, sulfate, nitrate, ammonia and orthophosphate compounds, and has a pH of around 8 (slightly alkaline), which the venue says helps restore the skin's acid-base balance.

The site highlights therapeutic uses of the water, including relief for rheumatic and musculoskeletal disorders (joint inflammation, arthritis, back pain), muscle relaxation and post-injury pain relief, stress reduction and better sleep, skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema, circulatory support, respiratory benefits through inhalation, gynecological inflammation and post-operative rehabilitation.
