About
The H2otel Congress & Medical Spa sits in Unhais da Serra at around 750 metres altitude, in a glacial valley within the Serra da Estrela Natural Park. Its Aquadome complex draws on the renowned therapeutic waters of Unhais da Serra.
Thermal water
The spring water emerges at roughly 37.5°C. It is a sulphurous mineral water containing sodium bicarbonate, carbonates, fluorides and hydrogen sulphide, with a total mineralisation of about 280 mg/l and a pH of 8.5–8.8. It is traditionally valued for respiratory and ENT conditions, as well as rheumatic, musculoskeletal, digestive and circulatory complaints.
