About
Termas da Fonte Santa de Almeida is a municipal thermal spa set on the Encosta da Fonte Santa, about 3.5 km northwest of the fortified village of Almeida in Portugal's Guarda district. The waters emerge at around 560 m altitude from the slopes of the valley carved by the River Coa, in a green landscape close to the historic star fort and its military museum.
