Caldas de São Paulo

Aqua Village Health Resort & Spa is a five-star thermal retreat set on a four-hectare property beside the Alva River in Caldas de São Paulo, Oliveira do Hospital, framed by poplar groves and just a few kilometres from the Serra da Estrela Natural Park. It was named the world's best thermal-waters resort at the Haute Grandeur Global Excellence Awards.

Thermal water & source

The resort draws on its own thermal spring and includes an Interpretation Centre dedicated to thermal mineral waters. The healing waters feed the pools and are used in thermal treatments designed for both adults and children.

Spa & wellness

The Spa Sensations wellness area offers a sauna, Turkish bath, contrast shower and a gym, alongside treatment rooms for massages, facials and body rituals. Signature options include Vichy and Scottish showers and honey-based Hydromel treatments, plus open-air massages suspended among the trees of the estate's poplar grove.

Hotel & dining

Accommodation is in spacious one- and two-bedroom apartments, from Deluxe units to Premium suites with private outdoor hot tubs and a two-bedroom Presidential Suite. The on-site Roots Restaurant & Bistro Bar serves healthy regional gastronomy.
