Csepeli strandfürdő

Csepeli Strandfürdő is a thermal beach bath (strandfürdő) at Hollandi út 14 in Budapest's XXI (Csepel) district, on the Soroksári branch of the Danube. According to the bath's own account, a Danube-side lido operated here in the 1930s, and after mineral water was discovered the present bath was built in 1961. The water is described as a mineral water of valuable composition drawn from deep wells; the site presents it as therapeutic and relaxing but states no specific medical indications or official medicinal-water (gyógyvíz) certification.

Thermal water and pools

The thermal water reaches the bath at 36–38 °C. The thermal pool is circular, with a surface area of 200 m², a volume of 180 m³, a depth of roughly 0.90 m, and a water temperature of about 38 °C; it accommodates around 80 bathers at once. The bath also lists a 50-metre swimming pool (about 20 × 50 m, 970 m², 1,552 m³, depth roughly 1.60–1.90 m, water at 26–27 °C, capacity around 194 people), described as usable year-round under a tent cover; an irregularly shaped experience pool (élménymedence, 1,598 m², 2,077 m³, depth roughly 1.35–1.65 m, about 27 °C, capacity around 320); a circular children's pool (94 m², 38 m³, depth about 0.30–0.55 m, water around 30 °C, capacity around 47); and a diving pool with water in the 12–20 °C range.

Sauna and other facilities

The sauna is housed in a separate wooden building and, per the site, comprises Sport and Relax saunas with its own cold-water plunge pool; it operates during the winter season only and requires a separate sauna ticket and wristband. The bath also has water slides and is set in roughly seven hectares of parkland, with an overall capacity of about 4,000 people by water-surface area.

Visiting

In summer the bath states opening hours of 9:00–19:00 Monday to Sunday, with the ticket office closing in the afternoon (listed at 17:30) and pools closing 30 minutes before the site closes. During winter operation the 50-metre pool offers early-morning swimming (from 6:00). Pricing is published on the site only as price-list images; the bath notes discounts for pensioners (with pension ID or ID for those over 65), full-time students (with valid student ID), and pre-arranged organised groups.
