Waldsee-Therme is a thermal bath in Bad Waldsee, Baden-Württemberg, built around 720 m² of water spread over indoor and outdoor basins. Its water carries an official medicinal certification.

Indoor pools

The therapy pool is divided into three parts, holds 150 m² at 34 °C and is 1.30 m deep. Beside it a relaxation pool of 155 m² runs at the same temperature and depth, with two bubble pools built into it at 37 °C, fitted with underwater loungers and neck showers. A treading basin of 13 m² with a waterfall is kept cold, at 23 °C, for alternating baths. An aroma steam grotto, three whirlpools, bubble seats and neck showers belong to the same hall, and underwater speakers play music every evening from 20:00.

Outdoor pools

The movement pool outside holds 183 m² at 35 °C, 1.30 m deep, and includes a flow channel. The swimming pool is larger at 231 m², with four lanes of 16⅔ metres, and is held at 28 °C in summer and 32 °C in winter. A barrel sauna, used with swimwear, stands in the outdoor area.

The water and its uses

Water reaches the pools between 23 °C and 37 °C depending on the basin. According to the venue it is used for circulatory and musculoskeletal complaints, rheumatic conditions and recovery after injury.

Programme

Water gymnastics is included in the admission and runs daily at 10:00, 11:00, 15:30 and 16:30 except Thursdays and Saturdays; aquafitness is held on Thursdays at 16:45 and 17:15.

Visiting

The bath opens daily from 09:00 to 22:00 and has step-free access. An adult day ticket costs 20 EUR, a short ticket 12.40 EUR and an evening ticket 12.70 EUR; a family day ticket is 28 EUR. The address is Badstraße 16.
