Aqua Mundo

Aqua Mundo is the covered water world of Center Parcs Park Allgäu, the holiday park built on the site of the former Muna Urlau at Leutkirch im Allgäu in Upper Swabia. The operator gives its postal address as Allgäuallee 40, 88299 Leutkirch, and lists the park as "Deutschland, Süddeutschland, Leutkirch". The water is plain heated fresh water in a glazed, tropically warmed hall: Center Parcs calls it a "tropisches Badeparadies" and makes no claim anywhere of thermal, mineral, brine or seawater supply, and the operator publishes no water temperature for this park.

The two operator pages that enumerate the attractions do not agree on how many slides there are. The park overview page advertises "4 packende Wasserrutschen und die längste Wildwasserbahn von Center Parcs", while the chain's day-ticket page describes the same bath as "Tropisches Badeparadies Aqua Mundo, mit 6 unterschiedlichen großen Rutschen, wie einer Freifall-Rutsche und verschiedenen Reifen-Rutschen". Both agree on a free-fall slide and several tyre slides and on the whitewater channel, which Center Parcs calls the longest in its chain; no total pool count is published, so none is given here. Beside the slides the operator names a large Water Playhouse with children's slides and a snorkelling pool holding, in its words, "Fischen, Piranhas, riesige Rochen und echten Haien". A separate Deep Nature Spa of 2,400 m², with an infinity pool and several saunas, adjoins the bath and is run as its own paying area.

The park, and with it the bath, opened at the end of October 2018 after a false start earlier that month; German Wikipedia records that "öffnete der Ferienpark Leutkirch / Center Parcs Park Allgäu nun Ende Oktober 2018 für die Feriengäste". Aqua Mundo is open year-round and independent of the weather, but Center Parcs publishes no daily opening hours for it.

Day visitors are admitted. Center Parcs sells a Tageskarte for Park Allgäu, headed "Tagesbesuch in Park Allgäu", and states that the ticket includes "Unbegrenzter Zugang zum Aqua Mundo, dem tropischen Badeparadies zum Schwimmen und für Action auf den Rutschen. Wetterunabhängig, das ganze Jahr über." The ticket is booked online for a chosen date and for at most five people, and also covers the indoor play worlds BALUBA and Action Factory and the outdoor areas; massages, climbing, bowling, the zip line, pony rides and bicycle hire are charged separately. The operator does not publish a day-ticket price on this page.
