Bodensee-Therme Konstanz

Bodensee-Therme is the thermal bath of Konstanz, on the shore of Lake Constance in Baden-Württemberg. It is one of the few German therms with the lake itself at the end of the terrace.

The water

The pools are held between 34 and 36 °C. According to the venue the water is used for skin complaints.

Pools

The indoor thermal pool holds 300 m² at 34 °C, fitted with 16 massage jets, LED underwater lighting, bubble loungers with neck rolls, massage seats and four floor jets for the soles of the feet. The outdoor thermal pool is larger at 400 m², also 34 °C, with bubble loungers, a neck shower, massage jets, floor bubblers and a current channel. Two hotter basins run at 36 °C — the Quelltopf and the outdoor panorama pool — and both are open only from the age of six. A parent-and-child pool of 50 m² has floor bubblers, water sprayers, a water mushroom and a boat canal.

Salt room and programme

A salt room runs daily from 09:45 to 21:30 in 45-minute sessions. Water gymnastics is included in the thermal admission and takes place from Monday to Friday at 11:00 and 19:00, for 30 minutes.

Children

Children up to two enter free but need swimming aids, and from three they pay a reduced rate. The venue asks for sessions of no more than 20 minutes for small children, requires swim nappies and expects supervision throughout.

Visiting

The bath is open daily from 09:00 to 22:00 and has step-free access. It is at Zur Therme 2.
