Hotel Traube am See

This is the wellness and spa area of the Hotel Traube am See in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance. The legal notice names the operator as Hotel Traube am See GmbH, Meersburger Straße 11, 88048 Friedrichshafen-Fischbach, represented by Uwe Felix. Although the venue sits inside a hotel, it is not closed to outside visitors: the operator states that use of the spa and wellness area is always included in the room rate for hotel and apartment guests, and that external guests may also use it, with numbers limited to keep the atmosphere calm and availability to be checked with reception by telephone. A separate DaySpa tariff is published for day visitors, so the bathing offer is genuinely open to the public. The water is not presented as thermal or mineral and no analysis is published; this is a heated indoor pool and sauna landscape, not a balneological spa.

The operator gives the wellness landscape as more than 1,500 m². The pool landscape measures 100 m², is described as light-flooded with a view into the large hotel garden, and holds underwater massage benches and whirl loungers at a water temperature of 29 °C. Generous lying areas and daybeds face the garden, and in warm weather there is direct access out into the garden with loungers, parasols and shaded spots. The pool is open daily from 7:00 to 21:00.

The sauna landscape links the hotel's two buildings. The operator lists an atrium with lounge and tea bar; a Finnish block sauna of hand-hewn fir at 85 °C; a bio sauna with colour-light therapy at 60 °C; a Roman steam bath with essential scents at 45 °C; a plunge pool and a Kneipp watercourse; a warm relaxation pool; a shower garden with tropical rain and icy downpours; a fresh-air deck with waterfalls; relaxation rooms with recliners; and a 'Snoezel' room. No total cabin count is published, so the list is reproduced rather than summed. Sauna hours are seasonal: in summer, May to September, daily from 15:00 to 21:00; in winter, October to April, daily from 13:00 to 21:00. Massages and treatments are given by the hotel's therapists daily from 9:00 to 18:00 subject to availability, with booking recommended before arrival by email and free cancellation up to 24 hours beforehand; a separate wellness menu is published.

DaySpa admission is published and includes access to the pool, the sauna landscape, the tea bar and the fitness room, with a bathrobe, sauna towel and bath bag lent for the visit. The day ticket for sauna and pool runs daily from 7:00 to 21:00 except Saturday and costs €32 per person. A 2.5-hour tariff runs daily from 7:00 to 21:00, on Saturdays only from 18:00, and costs €26 per person. An After Work Special from 18:00 daily except Friday and Saturday costs €35 per person and includes a drink and a Flammkuchen at the lobby bar afterwards. A 'Traube Verwöhntag' package from Monday to Friday, by reservation, adds breakfast from the buffet, a welcome drink, all-day use of the wellness area, a 25-minute massage and coffee and cake in the afternoon.
