Therme Euskirchen

Therme Euskirchen, which trades as Badewelt Euskirchen, is a thermal bath in Euskirchen, North Rhine-Westphalia. It opened in 2015 under the Therme Group and divides into three separate worlds: the Palmenparadies, the Vitaltherme with its saunas, and a sports pool. The spring supplies water at 33 °C.

Palmenparadies

The large lagoon indoors is held at 33 °C among planted palms and orchids and continues into an outdoor pool at the same temperature, with whirlpools and bubble loungers. A South Sea current channel runs through the warm water. Three smaller basins are filled with different mineral waters — a selenium pool, a calcium-lithium pool and a Dead Sea pool holding an 18% brine. A pool bar serves from the water.

Vitaltherme and saunas

The sauna world has ten themed cabins — Apollon, Koi, Tropen, Taj Mahal, Alhambra, Holzstadl, Keltenthron, Meditations, Wiener Kaffeehaus and Kino — plus the Auennebel steam bath. Its own Blaue Lagune runs at 33 °C indoors and out, alongside a crystal-water basin, a plunge basin, an ice fountain and a calla-blossom shower. Relaxation shells sit under palms, and a Vitalgarten serves as the outdoor cooling area. The venue counts more than 60 daily sessions and treatments as included in the admission, and recommends beginners start in a cabin at about 60 °C.

Age limits

The Vitaltherme and sauna area is for guests of 16 and over and is used without swimwear. The Palmenparadies is also 16 and over, except for children up to three years, and it runs family days without an age limit on Sundays and daily through the summer holidays. The sports pool has no age restriction.

Visiting

The Vitaltherme and the Palmenparadies open Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 23:00, Saturday from 09:00 to 23:59 and Sunday from 09:00 to 23:00. The sports pool has its own shorter hours: 14:00 to 17:00 on Mondays and Wednesdays, 14:00 to 21:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 14:00 to 18:00 on Fridays and 09:00 to 21:00 at weekends. The complex is at Thermenallee 1 and has step-free access.
