Erftlagune

The Erftlagune is a year-round leisure bath run by the Kolpingstadt Kerpen, which also operates the Hallenbad Kerpen and the Freibad Türnich; the operator's own name for it is ERFTLAGUNE Vierjahreszeiten-Bad, and the address given on the site is Bruchhöhe 20, 50170 Kerpen, in the Sindorf district. The water is ordinary heated tap water: the site names no thermal spring, no mineral source and no brine, and it describes no sauna.

Indoors the layout is built around an Erlebnisbecken of roughly 180 square metres at about 30°C, fitted with underwater massage jets, massage benches, recessed underwater loungers, a flat-jet shower and a neck shower. A 50-metre Großwasserrutsche with banked curves discharges into this pool, ending in a wide run-out the operator calls a Rutschensofa. A swim channel links the Erlebnisbecken to the outdoor pool, so the indoor and outdoor water can be used in one visit. Beside it a Warmsprudelbecken is held at about 34°C. For lane swimming there is a 25-metre Sportmehrzweckbecken of 318 square metres at about 28°C, lit by underwater floodlights, with a 1-metre springboard and a 3-metre platform over water 3.40 metres deep. The indoor toddler area has two shallow basins at about 32°C with a water-squirting animal and a small slide, and a baby changing room next to it.

Outdoors the Vierjahreszeitenbecken measures about 192 square metres and is held at about 30°C, which the operator states allows use in snow and ice; it contains a current channel, a bubbling section with massage benches in the middle, a water mushroom, underwater massage jets and an underwater massage bench. A five-lane Sportmehrzweckbecken of about 318 square metres is open in the summer season only, alongside a lawn. The outdoor paddling pool of about 100 square metres sits at about 30°C and carries a free-jet mushroom, a squirting animal, a mini spouter and a slide ramp. Catering is the Café-Snackbar Kiwi with a terrace.

From 2 September 2026 the bath is given over to schools and clubs during the day, with early swimming from 6 to 8 in the morning; public opening is Thursday and Friday 14:00-21:00 and Saturday, Sunday and public holidays 11:00-19:00, with early swimming Tuesday to Sunday 06:00-08:00. Published admission: adults 4.50 euro for two hours and 7.00 euro for a day ticket, children and young people up to 17 inclusive 3.50 and 5.00 euro, children up to 4 inclusive 1.00 euro, and a family ticket for two adults with their own children at 18.50 euro. An evening tariff from 19:00 limited to 90 minutes costs 3.50 euro for adults and 2.50 euro for children; early swimming is 3.00 euro.
