Monte Mare

monte mare Bedburg is an indoor pool and sauna-wellness resort in Bedburg (Erft), in the Rhineland region of Germany, designed around a Bali and temple theme. The pool hall (Hallenbad) holds a 25-metre sports pool at 27°C with 1-metre and 3-metre diving boards for lap swimmers, a shallow teaching pool at 32°C used for swimming lessons, water gymnastics and aqua jogging, and a children's pool at 32°C with a play area of colourful water figures. Pool hours vary by day, with school and club sessions on weekday mornings and general bathing time in the afternoons and on weekends. The separate Sauna & WellnessResort, for guests aged 16 and up, offers themed saunas including a steam bath, a fire sauna with an open fireplace, a classic Finnish sauna and a Balinese sweat lodge, plus indoor and outdoor sauna areas, a large brine pool (Solebecken), a barefoot path and a fireplace lounge, with scented infusion ceremonies. A separate wellness area offers massages, hamam treatments, spa packages for one or two people and peeling ceremonies. The site also has an on-site restaurant. Sauna admission includes access to the indoor pool, though the two areas keep different opening hours.
