Dithmarscher Wasserwelt

Dithmarscher Wasserwelt is a municipal water park at Heide in Schleswig-Holstein, run by the town's utility. It combines a 50-metre sports pool with a brine pool, an outdoor pool and a sauna block.

Pools

The 50-metre pool has a generous non-swimmer section and two diving towers, at 1 and 3 metres. The brine pool is held at 32 °C with bubble loungers and massage jets, and opens from 11:30 on Saturdays and Sundays. The outdoor pool covers 500 m² at 27 °C, with bubble loungers, a current channel, massage jets and a broad slide. A parent-and-child area holds shallow water at 28 °C with toys. Two tube slides run 20 and 80 metres. Water across the park is held between 27 and 32 °C, and according to the venue it is used for skin complaints.

Sauna

Three cabins: a blockhouse sauna and a Finnish sauna at 90 °C, and a eucalyptus sauna at 80 °C, with a cold plunge pool and several rest zones.

Visiting

The pool is closed on Mondays. It opens 06:30 to 21:00 from Tuesday to Friday — except Wednesday, when it starts at 15:00 — and 09:00 to 19:00 at weekends. The sauna keeps shorter hours, 12:00 to 22:00 on weekdays and 12:00 to 20:00 at weekends, also closed Mondays. The park is shut on 1 January and on 24, 25 and 31 December, and opens 10:00 to 20:00 on 26 December. The building has step-free access and is at Landvogt-Johannsen-Straße 61.
