Entdeckerbad

The Entdeckerbad is the family leisure bath of the Ostsee Resort Damp on the Baltic coast of Schleswig-Holstein. The operator describes it as the resort's family adventure pool directly on the Baltic, built around two slides: an event slide with light effects running almost 100 metres, and a speed slide of over 66 metres. The indoor pool is held at 27-29 °C, and a separate toddler pool sits at 30 °C with its own small submarine slide. An outdoor pool is listed alongside the indoor water, and the operator describes shallow basins and small slides where children can get used to the water. A bistro with hot food is inside the bath itself.

The bath is open daily from 10:00 to 19:00. Guests staying in the resort's Midgard hotel or Asgard holiday park receive free daily admission to the Entdeckerbad including the Värmland sweat-lodge village, limited in duration, on showing the room card at the desk. Day visitors are admitted and pay: the operator heads the section "Öffnungszeiten & Eintrittspreise Entdeckerbad Damp" and publishes a separate price list whose columns distinguish hotel and holiday-house guests from day guests, for the Entdeckerbad alone and for Värmland including the Entdeckerbad. The bath also runs swimming courses and children's birthday parties, and holds a free-play afternoon every Friday from 15:00 to 17:00. A town championship on the water slide is scheduled at the Entdeckerbad on 17 October 2026, with the contest starting at 14:00.

The operator announces a maintenance closure from 11 to 24 January 2027. The resort's other water is separate from the Entdeckerbad: the Mare Mara Panoramabad is a seawater pool with its own sauna landscape, and the operator's own Day Spa page states that this spa area, not the Entdeckerbad, is what is bookable by day guests as a spa package.
