Chiemgau Thermen

Chiemgau Thermen is the thermal bath of Bad Endorf, in Bavaria between the Chiemsee and the Alps. It holds around 1,800 m² of water and its longest feature is a current channel of 125 metres.

Pools

Indoor and outdoor pools run up to about 35 °C all year, and the Fels Lagune with its hot-water pool is the warm heart of the building. The outdoor activity pool is nearly 400 m² and kept cooler at about 27 °C, and an outdoor whirlpool covers 40 m². A Kneipp basin stands at about 14 °C, varying with the season, for contrast bathing. Across the bath the water runs from 27 to 35 °C.

Sauna world

Eight cabins and steam rooms: an earth sauna, a Swiss-pine room, a bio sauna, a herbal-infusion sauna, an infrared sauna, a panorama sauna added in 2019, a relaxation steam bath and a herbal steam bath, the last with an outdoor relaxation pool and two plunge pools.

Age rules

Children under three are not admitted at all; the bath opens from the age of three, and the sauna world only from 16. Children under 1.30 m must be supervised by an adult in the pools.

Visiting

Open daily from 09:00 to 22:00, closed on 24 December and with special hours at New Year. From 1 May 2026, four hours in the bath cost 27.00 EUR and a full day 31.00 EUR, with 5.00 EUR added at weekends and on holidays; with the sauna the same tickets are 35.00 and 39.00 EUR. A swimmer's ticket of 90 minutes is 19.00 EUR, a morning ticket of two hours on weekdays 21.00 EUR and an evening ticket from 17:00 23.00 EUR. Children of 3 to 5 pay 5.00 EUR for four hours or 9.00 EUR for a day; those from 6 to 17 and students up to 25 get 4.00 EUR off. A family ticket for two adults and one child is 62.00 EUR for four hours or 74.00 EUR for a day. The bath is at Ströbinger Straße 18 and has step-free access.
