Chiemgau Thermen

Chiemgau Thermen is the thermal bath of Bad Endorf, in Bavaria between the Chiemsee and the Alps. It holds around 1,800 m² of water, and the venue states that the temperature stays constantly between 27 and 35 °C depending on the pool.

Pools

Indoors the Fels Lagune is the warm heart of the building, at about 32 to 33 °C, built as a rock grotto with a waterfall, bubbling loungers and seats, massage jets and a whirl basin; a hot-water pool beside it runs at about 34 to 35 °C. Water animations run daily at 10:00, 12:00, 16:00 and 18:00.

Outdoors the relaxation pool is held at about 33 to 34 °C, with a bridge, cascade showers and massage jets; the 25-metre swimmers' activity pool is kept cooler, at about 27 °C; the outdoor whirlpool runs at about 34 to 35 °C; and a current channel of 125 metres carries bathers at about 31 °C. A Kneipp treading and plunge basin at about 14 °C, varying with the season, stands for contrast bathing.

Sauna world

Eight cabins and steam rooms: an earth sauna, a Swiss-pine room, a bio sauna, a herbal-infusion sauna, an infrared sauna, a panorama sauna added in 2019, a relaxation steam bath and a herbal steam bath, the last with an outdoor relaxation pool and two plunge pools. A Dead Sea salt grotto is part of the same complex.

Age rules

Children under three are not admitted at all; the bath opens from the age of three, and the sauna world only from 16. Children under 1.30 m must be supervised by an adult in the pools.

Visiting

Open daily from 09:00 to 22:00, closed on 24 December and with special hours at New Year. The bath is at Ströbinger Straße 18 and has step-free access.
