Fresch

fresch is an indoor and outdoor pool and sauna facility in Freising, Bavaria, with more than a thousand square metres of water surface. The indoor hall has four pools: a six-lane 25-metre sports pool at about 27°C, a teaching pool with a movable floor down to 0.3 metres at about 31°C, an attraction pool of 250 square metres and 1.35 metres depth at about 32°C with a five-metre slide and a current channel, and a children's pool at about 33°C up to 40cm deep with play figures. From mid-May to mid-September the outdoor pool adds three more pools, a diving tower and a sunbathing lawn. The sauna's indoor cabins include a Finnish sauna at 90-95°C, a steam bath at 45-55°C and the low-humidity Birkenstüberl at 60-65°C, plus a cold-water pool, a warm-water pool and two rest rooms. A separate outdoor sauna garden holds a vaulted cellar sauna at 80-85°C, the herb-scented Gartenhäusl at 70-75°C, and the Bootshaus at 90-95°C used for show infusions, plus a natural swimming pond for cooling off, a barefoot path and a rest house. Two massage cabins offer wellness packages, and a sauna bar and pool kiosk serve food and drinks; a steakhouse restaurant also operates on site.
