სამეფო აბანო

Royal Bath (სამეფო აბანო) is a historic sulphur bathhouse in the Abanotubani district of old Tbilisi, describing itself as one of the treasures of the old city dating to the 18th century. It draws on the naturally warm sulphur hot springs that have fed this quarter since the era of King Vakhtang Gorgasali.

Sulphur thermal water

The bathhouse uses the area's natural sulphur spring water, and its own account notes there are two types of sulphur water in the district, warm and cold. A specific water temperature is not published by the venue.

Rooms and halls

Guests bathe in private rooms behind an oriental-style interior. Five rooms are offered, ranging from 60 to 180 square metres for 1 to 8 people, each with hot and cold pools; the larger rooms (Room 2 and Room 3) also include a sauna, and all rooms have free WiFi.
