Aqua centrum Jičín

Aqua centrum Jičín is an indoor swimming pool complex operated by the town's sports facility administration (Sportovní zařízení města Jičín), in the Královéhradecký kraj region of the Czech Republic. The main lap pool measures 25 by 8 metres, 1.3-1.6 m deep, with water at 26.5-27.5°C; a children's pool measures 12.5 by 8 metres, 0.6-0.8 m deep, at a warmer 28-30°C. There is a diving pool with a 1-metre springboard at 3.9 m depth, a children's paddling pool with an artificial stream and a water mushroom, an oval wild-water river channel 1.2 m deep, and a 96-metre enclosed slide with an 8.5-metre height drop. Two whirlpools, each holding up to 8 people, run at 30-32°C, and a steam chamber for 10-15 people reaches up to 52°C with scented essences. A separate sauna area has men's and women's Finnish saunas on a weekly schedule, including sessions for parents with young children at a reduced 70°C, plus a children's sauna slot on Monday afternoons. Tickets are sold separately for pool and sauna, by time block or as rechargeable multi-visit cards. The site gives no city name for the complex; it sits within the Jičín municipal sports grounds.
