About
Koupaliste Cihelna is a seasonal open-air bathing complex at Ke Koupalisti 68 in Pardubice II, in the Pardubice Region of the Czech Republic. It is run by Aquacentrum Pardubice and presented through the same aquapce.cz domain, but it is a physically separate site several kilometres from the indoor aquacentre at Jiraskova 2664, with its own address, telephone number, e-mail address, price list, visitor regulations, site plan and opening-hours page. The front page of the shared domain is only a splitter offering a choice between the two, and each leads to an independent website; nothing on either site suggests the two names describe one place.
The bathing area is arranged around several separate basins, listed by the operator without a total. A 50 m swimming pool 155 to 165 cm deep has eight lanes and six starting blocks. Next to it stands a diving pool 370 cm deep with two springboards and pressure windows set into its sides. A recreational pool 120 to 135 cm deep carries the leisure attractions: a wild channel, blowers, wall massages, water spouts and a waterfall. For small children there is a children's pool 65 cm deep with an umbrella and a water mushroom, and a paddling pool 30 to 40 cm deep. Two massage tubs each take five people for a ten-minute programme.
Water-slide provision is unusually heavy for a Czech municipal lido: two parallel tube slides 105 m long and two parallel open slides 25 m long. The dry areas hold a beach volleyball court, table tennis and, since the summer of 2026, a teqball court; balls, bats and petanque sets are lent against cash deposits. Catering runs on the same hours as the bathing area, with ice cream, drinks, toys and swimming accessories sold on site. Admission is a flat day ticket with a cheaper rate after 16:00, and no refund is given if the weather turns.
The water is ordinary treated municipal supply. No page on the operator's site uses the words termalni, lecivy, mineralni or pramen in connection with the water at either Cihelna or the indoor aquacentre; the single occurrence of the stem termalni anywhere on the domain describes the heating element of an infrared cabin in the aquacentre's wellness suite, not a source. The 2026 season opened on Saturday 20 June, the hours were cut to 11:00 to 19:00 from 1 September, and the site now carries the banner SEZONA UKONCENA, meaning the season is over and the lido is closed until the summer of 2027.
