Aquapalace

Aquapalace Praha stands in the commercial zone at Čestlice, beside exit 6 of the D1 motorway on the south-eastern edge of Prague; the operator gives its address as "Pražská 138, obchodní zóna Průhonice – Čestlice 251 01 Praha - východ". Nothing on the operator's site or in the Czech Wikipedia article describes the water as thermal, mineral or brine: no spring, borehole or analysis is named anywhere, and the bath is presented purely as a heated-water leisure complex. The swimming pool is run at 30 °C ("Díky příjemné teplotě vody 30 °C") with a depth of 1.1 m and is divided into lanes.

The water world covers 9,150 m² and is split into three indoor halls plus an outdoor zone: Palác dobrodružství (the slide tower, marketed as the Raiffunzóna), Palác pokladů and Palác relaxu. The operator does not publish a pool total, but enumerates the attractions by zone: in Palác relaxu a swimming pool, a slow river, a wave breaker and giant cascading whirlpools; in Palác pokladů a wave pool with six programmes of waves, a pirate ship, a children's paddling pool, a children's area "U majáku", water cannons, massage water benches, a laser show and a VR zone; outdoors a wild river, small children's pools with slides and further outdoor basins. The slide set includes Crazy Tube (138 m), Kamikadze, Spacebowl, Twister, Magic Tube, Magic Trio, the Bodyslide/Raiffunslide, a family slide, blue slides, the indoor wild river Canyon and the outdoor wild river, which the operator calls the longest slide in the Czech Republic at more than 350 m; it puts the combined length of all slides at over 1 km.

The sauna world is a separate ticketed area holding, in the operator's words, "19 různých prohříváren", arranged as Finnish saunas, Roman baths, an Asian world and an outdoor zone. Named cabins include the Finnish sauna at 80–85 °C, the Vulkán sauna, described as the hottest at up to 100 °C, a birch sauna, a herbal sauna, a biosauna, a Zen sauna, a steam bath and a laconium, caldarium, tepidarium and salt bath in the Roman section, and an earth banya and a log banya outdoors, with cooling pools indoors and out, a relaxation pool and whirlpools. Sauna entry includes the water world.

The complex opened to the public on 5 May 2008 and is run year round. Water world hours are Monday to Wednesday 10:00–20:00, Thursday and Friday 10:00–22:00, Saturday 09:00–22:00 and Sunday 09:00–20:00; the sauna world runs 10:00–23:00 on weekdays and 09:00–23:00 at weekends. Note a contradiction on the operator's own pages: the swimming-pool page states "Otevřeno každý pracovní den až do 23 hodin", while the water world's own timetable closes at 20:00 on Monday to Wednesday. Water world day admission for an adult is 1149 Kč Monday to Thursday and 1399 Kč Friday to Sunday, on holidays and in school holidays; a three-hour adult ticket is 1049 Kč and 1299 Kč respectively.
