Koupaliště Flošna

Koupaliště Flošna in Hradec Králové is run by the city property administration and is described by the operator as a unique complex offering sport and relaxation for the whole family. It works in two halves: an open-air water park that runs through the summer season, and a wellness studio in the same grounds that the operator states is in operation all year round, alongside squash, fitness and a restaurant with bowling. The water is heated, not thermal or mineral; the operator says the pool water is heated to between 26 °C and 28 °C for the whole season so that bathing is possible even in poor weather.

The bathing area has three stainless-steel pools with a combined water surface of 1,670 m²: a 50-metre swimming pool, a recreation pool with attractions and a wild river, and a children's pool with a slide. Water treatment combines chemical dosing with ozone and UV. Three slides are named: a Jump slide aimed at adrenaline seekers, a classic toboggan, and a tube toboggan ridden on inflatable rings by single riders or pairs, which discharges into an arrival pool with a lazy river; all attractions are included in the admission price. Other activities listed are aquazorbing in a double-skinned ball, zumba, aqua aerobics and two beach-sport courts. Sunbathing is on a 10,000 m² lawn plus outdoor terraces with wooden loungers and parasols, with trees for shade. There is a children's playground with new roundabouts and swings, a shaded area with rocking attractions next to the small pool, a separate paddling pool for the youngest, and a baby-changing area with a microwave in the summer changing rooms. A self-service ticket machine at the entrance sells tickets and tops up the chip watches used for payment inside; safes and bicycle racks are provided. Attractions stop 20 minutes and the water surfaces 10 minutes before closing, and the slides start at 9:00 or later depending on weather.

The wellness studio, which the operator calls the largest in Hradec Králové, has four saunas — Finnish, herbal, bio and infrared — and two steam cabins, a salt steam cabin and an aroma cabin. Hydrotherapy consists of a whirlpool and a relaxation pool with massage jets; cooling is by plunge pool, a bucket of courage and massage showers. There are reflexology plates, a new stainless Kneipp walkway in two separate warm and cold sections with massage pebbles on the bottom, a quiet room with a fireplace, a gallery and an outdoor terrace, a turbo solarium and professional massages by appointment. Capacity is 81 people; on the ground floor visitors may choose whether to wear swimwear, while on the first floor swimwear is prohibited. Children from one year are admitted with parents all day Monday and on Saturday until 15:00; on other days entry is for over-18s only. The wellness studio opens 10:00–21:00 daily except Wednesday, when it closes at 19:00.

The 2026 bathing season ended on 8 September at 19:00 after 82,340 visitors, and the lido pages show closed hours; through September the hours had been shortened to 9:00–19:00 daily, with the pools still heated. Published 2026 single admission to the summer lido is 190 CZK for adults paying by chip and 220 CZK by other means, 150/180 CZK for children over 120 cm, students up to 26, seniors over 62 and disabled visitors, and free for children under 120 cm.
