Water parks in Spain

Spanish water parks are outdoor and built for the beach holiday, most of them open from spring or early summer to autumn: on the Costa Brava at Platja d'Aro and Lloret de Mar, on the coast north of Barcelona at Palafolls, in Tarragona at Albinyana, on the Costa Blanca at Torrevieja, in Almería at Vera, and at Almuñécar on the Costa Tropical, where the park uses salt water.

The Canary Islands, with parks on Fuerteventura and Tenerife, have the longest season. Menorca has one at Cala en Blanes, and inland Córdoba has Aquasierra.
