Aquasierra is a water park in Villafranca de Córdoba, in the province of Córdoba, described by the operator as the only water park in the province.
About
It opened in 1987 and has run every summer since, covering a total surface of 47,000 square metres.
The water side of the park is built around a lake pool for cooling off and a separate children's pool with water games and low-height slides. Named attractions include Lengua del Dragón, Río Bravo Grande, Río Bravo Chico, Pistas Blandas, Caracol Chico, Caracol Grande, Kamikaze, Black Hole, Río Aventura and Pulpo Race, with access graded by visitor height into four bands from under 90 cm to over 140 cm.
Individual and double floats can be rented for the river-style attractions, and free floats are provided at all attractions. The park also has VIP zones, float and sunbed rental, lockers, a restaurant, changing rooms and its own car park, plus a lifeguard service and a first-aid post permanently staffed by medical personnel. The operator mentions no indoor hall, sauna or heated season: the park opens only in summer.
