Terme Paradiso

Terme Paradiso is a thermal spa resort in Dobova, in the Posavje region of Slovenia. It combines a water park of connected indoor and outdoor pools, a dedicated sauna and wellness area called Paradiso Oasis, on-site accommodation and dining, with more than 1,800 m2 of indoor and outdoor water surfaces in total.

The water

The spa is supplied by thermal water reached at a depth of 706 metres. At the source the water measures around 55°C and is cooled for bathing, reaching roughly 32°C in the pools available to guests. Its stated mineral content includes magnesium, calcium, hydrogen carbonate and sulfate.

Pools & saunas

The pool complex links indoor and outdoor swimming areas and includes a thermal pool, a whirlpool, a lazy river and an outdoor children's pool. Several water slides are offered, among them a white slide, a blue slide, a multitrack slide and a kamikaze slide, with an indoor slide added more recently.

The Paradiso Oasis sauna area holds eight saunas of different kinds: a chrome Finnish sauna (up to 90°C), an outdoor forest sauna (up to 85°C), a Paradiso steam sauna (around 43°C), a hammam Turkish steam bath (up to 48°C), a salt-herbal sauna (40–50°C), a bio panoramic sauna (up to 60°C), a steam sauna (40–45°C) and an infrared sauna (40–60°C). The oasis also has an FKK thermal pool, offered both indoors and outdoors at 29–32°C, a cold pool and a nudist terrace, along with an igloo relaxation spot and rest areas fitted with deckchairs and water beds. Bathrobe rental is available, and sauna admission includes access to the main thermal pools.

Facilities

A Wellness & Aesthetics department offers spa and beauty services. On-site accommodation ranges from the four-star Hotel Superior with 35 rooms to the Glamping Honey Paradise site set among trees near the thermal springs, and the Pansion Paradiso guesthouse. Dining is provided by the restaurant and pizzeria Valentina, which serves pizza and local Posavje dishes. The resort also offers activities and a motorhome stopover.

Visiting

The Paradiso Oasis sauna area is open daily from 12:00 to 22:00. Some outdoor and steam saunas close seasonally over the summer. Separate price lists are published for the thermal pools, the saunas and the hotel.
