Rimske Terme

Rimske Terme is a thermal spa and business resort in Rimske Toplice, in eastern Slovenia. Its pool and sauna world occupy the fourth floor of the four-star Hotel Rimski Dvor, pairing thermal bathing pools with a multi-sauna area and wellness treatments.

Pools

The bathing area is arranged as a connected set of pools. There is an indoor pool kept at a water temperature of 32 degrees Celsius, and an outdoor panoramic pool, connected to the indoor pool, also at 32 degrees Celsius. Alongside these are four indoor massage pools fitted with in-water seating and beds at 35 degrees Celsius, and three outdoor massage pools with the same in-water seating and beds, likewise at 35 degrees Celsius.

Saunas

The Varinia sauna land brings together several sauna types on the same floor as the pools. Indoors it has a Finnish sauna (Arena), two infrared saunas (Diana and Cupid), and two Turkish steam saunas (Byzantium and Fortuna). On the outdoor terrace there is a salt sauna (Minerva), an organic herbal sauna (Venus), and a further Finnish sauna (Nero). The sauna land also includes an indoor cold pool, an indoor massage pool with underwater beds, a lounge, a tepidarium, and an ice machine.

Wellness

Beyond bathing, the resort offers wellness packages that combine pool and sauna access with massage. The Roman Relaxation day-wellness package pairs a full-day pool-and-sauna ticket with a 60-minute Roman massage, while the Spa to Go package combines a three-hour pool-and-sauna entry with a wellness massage. A separate wellness-zone swimming pool option is also available.

Visiting

Tickets are sold separately for the swimming pool, the sauna area, and a combined pool-and-sauna entry, each in daily, three-hour, and after-6-p.m. evening formats, with higher weekend and holiday rates. Adult swimming-pool tickets run from 15 euros for an evening entry to 20 euros on weekdays (27 euros at weekends and on holidays) for a daily ticket; children's pool tickets are lower. Sauna daily tickets are 25 euros on weekdays and 33 euros at weekends and on holidays. Combined pool-and-sauna daily tickets are 35 euros on weekdays and 40 euros at weekends and on holidays. Additional options include lunch (22 euros for adults, 15 euros for children aged 4 to 12, free for under-fours) and rental of towels and bathrobes.
