Terme 3000 - Moravske Toplice

Terme 3000 is a thermal-water resort in Moravske Toplice, in the Prekmurje region of north-eastern Slovenia, operated as part of Sava Hotels & Resorts. It is built around the local thermal spring and combines bathing pools, saunas, wellness facilities and a medical health centre with on-site hotels.

The water

The resort draws on what it calls Moravci black thermo-mineral water, a dark mineral water nicknamed "black gold" whose springs were discovered here more than 60 years ago. The water is used unfiltered and is described as having a high concentration of active ingredients; among its recorded minerals is iron. It emerges from the source at around 37 °C. Black-water baths are featured across all of the resort's bathing areas.

Pools & saunas

Across the whole resort there are 32 pools and baths. The central Thermal Park Terme 3000 accounts for 11 pools and baths spread over an area of more than 3,000 m². It is arranged as a two-floor indoor pool area that includes saunas, alongside an outdoor pool area with both adrenaline and family waterslides. The various bathing zones include swimming pools, children's pools and black-water baths, and several of the children's areas have their own waterslides.

Wellness & health

The resort has two wellness centres and a dedicated health centre. The health centre treats orthopaedic, rheumatological and dermatological conditions; the water's traditional use for rheumatic complaints is reflected in this offering.

Facilities

Beyond bathing, the resort includes a golf course, six congress halls, a children's playroom and two children's playgrounds. Several hotels sit on the property — among them Hotel Livada Prestige, Hotel Ajda and Hotel Termal — each with its own indoor and outdoor pools, including black-water pools and children's pools with waterslides. Guests staying at the hotels receive free entry to the thermal park.
