Caldas de São Jorge

Termas de S. Jorge is a natural, heritage-rich thermal resort set in Santa Maria da Feira, about 25 km from Porto in northern Portugal. It is a place to care for and revive the body, rest the mind and enjoy lasting wellbeing.

Thermal water & source

The mineral water emerges at around 23°C, captured from roughly 90 metres deep. It is a hypothermal, weakly mineralised, strongly alkaline (pH about 8.4) sulphurous water, classified as sodium bicarbonate, carbonated, fluoridated and sulfhydrated. It is therapeutically indicated for respiratory conditions, rheumatic and musculoskeletal disorders, and chronic and allergic skin conditions.
