A bath in the Polish Gorce mountains, on water raised from just over two kilometres at 37 °C.

About

Termy Gorce is a thermal bath at Poręba Wielka in the commune of Niedźwiedź, in the Gorce foothills of Lesser Poland, about 60 km from Kraków. It is a small, brine-fed complex rather than a slide park.

The water

The water comes from the Poręba Wielka IG-1 well, 2,002 metres below ground, and arrives at 37 °C — the temperature it is used at, needing neither heating nor cooling. The venue lists iodine, bromine, calcium, magnesium, lithium, sodium and potassium among its constituents.

Pools

The main pool holds 91 m² of therapeutic brine at 37 °C. Around it are six outdoor jacuzzis, two indoor ones and a separate VIP jacuzzi.

Sauna and salt

The sauna area has a Finnish sauna and an infrared sauna, alongside a salt grotto with a graduation chamber for breathing brine-laden air.

Visiting

The relaxation zone and the bar run from 09:00 to 22:00, the wellness zone from 11:00 to 19:00, and the restaurant from 11:30 to 21:00, half an hour later from Friday to Sunday. The building has step-free access and parking is free. The address is Poręba Wielka 875.
