Termy Gorący Potok

Termy Gorący Potok lies at Os. Nowe 45 in Szaflary, in the Podhale region south of Nowy Targ. All bathing is outdoors: the operator describes open-air pools filled with sulphurous geothermal water at a temperature of 32 °C to 40 °C, kept usable through the winter. The site states that the water comes straight from underground and is not additionally treated. No borehole depth, outflow temperature at the wellhead or mineralisation figure is published on the operator's pages on the thermal water, the pool zone, the saunarium, the price list or the contact page.

The operator gives two different pool counts. The home page says that 21 basins of differing character are made available to guests, and in the same paragraph calls the site a complex of a dozen or so unique outdoor pools; the pool-zone teaser on the same page instead advertises 10 varied outdoor basins. Six pools are described individually. Slebodny Bonior, the largest, is at about 37-38 °C and 1.2 m deep, with water fountains. Zawaternik przy Smreku, also 1.2 m deep, has a wooden bar in the middle of the pool. Siarcane Koloseum, 1 m deep, is one of the hottest at 38-40 °C and has a central stone fountain of sulphurous water. Gorsko Riviera is about 38-39 °C, 1.2 m deep, with water massage jets and a terrace above it. Wartki Potok is the longest pool at 70 m and the coolest at about 30 °C, intended for swimming. Podkowa is horseshoe-shaped, 0.8-1.2 m deep, used for aqua aerobics and for pool parties. The complex also has water slides, a children's zone open in summer, a volleyball court and an in-water bar.

The SPA and sauna zone, called "Grzysno Przyjemnosc", is textile-free and restricted to guests aged 18 and over. It holds three dry saunas including one aromatic cabin (60-70 °C), a steam bath at 40-50 °C, a large wood-fired sauna called "Gawra" fitted with a multimedia screen where sauna ceremonies are held at 70-90 °C, a brine graduation tower, a jacuzzi, a rest room and three granite basins that can be hired privately. Gawra runs from 15:00 on weekdays and from 12:00 at weekends. Peat-mud baths, massages and cosmetic treatments are offered separately. The venue is open daily from 9:00 to 22:00. Published prices for the SPA zone are 65.00 zl for a 1.5-hour entry and 90.00 zl for 3.5 hours, with a surcharge of 1 zl per minute over the booked time. A campsite with more than 100 pitches adjoins the baths, and a restaurant, Beef Master, operates on the first floor of the main building and can be entered without a pool ticket.
