About
Termy Bukovina is a large water park in the village of Bukowina Tatrzańska, in the Podhale region of Lesser Poland, at the foot of the Tatras. It is part of the wider Bukovina resort, which includes Hotel Bukovina and its spa.
The water
The water is drawn from about 2,400 metres below Wysoki Wierch. It is described as sulphate-sodium-calcium, sulphide and fluoride water, with mineralisation of up to about 1.7 g/dm³. The pools are kept at about 30 to 38 °C.
Pools and saunas
There are several indoor and outdoor thermal pools, and an indoor pool used for diving lessons for children and adults. Three slides run all year and two more open in summer, when an inflatable obstacle course is added. Aqua-aerobics classes are held during the day.
The sauna area has Finnish saunas, a steam bath, an infrared cabin and a laconium, with a cooling and rest area; scent sessions are held at set times. Spa and cosmetic treatments are offered separately.
Visiting
There is a restaurant on site, a Bukovina shop and animation for children. In summer there are DJ evenings, and night bathing sessions are held from time to time.
