About

Park Wodny „Olza” is the water park inside Kompleks Zagroń at Istebna 1588, 43-470 Istebna, in the Silesian Beskids. The domain istebna.org, despite its municipal look, is the operator's own site: it carries the Zagroń hotel, restaurant, ski and water-park pages and gives Zagroń's address and contact, and the site brands the venue "Park Wodny Istebna w Kompleksie Zagroń". The name "Olza" does not appear anywhere on the current operator site; it is attested for the same facility by Polish Wikipedia's article on the complex, which lists "Park Wodny „Olza”" among the things on the site alongside the Meridian spa centre. Catalogue users should expect the venue to be signposted locally as Park Wodny Istebna.

The water is not geothermal and not mineral. The operator publishes no borehole and no source temperature, only a heated-water figure, and gives it twice with a slight difference: the practical-information list states "Temperatura wody utrzymana jest w okolicach 33-35 stopni", while the section on the park's main advantage states the temperature is held at about 34 °C. Both statements are on the same operator page and are reported here as published. Warm water is what the operator presents as the reason the outdoor part works year-round.

Guests use two zones, indoor and outdoor. The pool area carries geysers, a wild river, curtain waterfalls, whirlpool tubs and a children's paddling pool with a hippo figure and a mini slide, plus in-water massage loungers with jets aimed at feet, calves, thighs and back. The main ride is a 70 m water slide. The outdoor part is presented as a heated open-air zone with loungers, palms and natural stone, open to the Beskid ridges, with a water bar in the summer season; the operator calls the outdoor pools seasonal. The Medical SPA Zagroń Istebna area, separate from the pool hall, holds saunas, a brine graduation tower, an ionisation room and relaxation zones, and a salt cave; Wikipedia's older description of the same site names a dry and a steam sauna, a salt-and-rock grotto and a climbing wall.

The water park is open daily 9:00-21:00, and the operator states explicitly that it is available to visitors from outside who are not hotel guests within those hours. The saunas run Monday to Friday 14:00-21:00 and Saturday and Sunday 10:00-21:00. Three ticket types are published: STANDARD covers the indoor and outdoor pool zones (adult 65 zł for two hours, 85 zł for three; children 3-12 and seniors 60+ 60 and 75 zł); OPEN adds the Medical SPA with saunas, salt graduation tower and salt cave (adult 85 and 100 zł; reduced 80 and 90 zł); ZDROWIE covers the Medical SPA alone, 14:00-21:00 (adult 40 zł for one hour, 50 zł for two; reduced 30 and 40 zł). Each started extra 30 minutes costs 10 zł on STANDARD and 15 zł on OPEN, children under three enter free, swimming caps are not required, no all-day ticket exists, bookings are taken only for groups over 20, and MultiSport and Medicover cards are not accepted.
