Aquacentrum

The Aquacentrum is part of the Bohumín sports centre complex run by BOSPOR, the town's sports company, at Koperníkova 1216, 735 81 Bohumín in the Moravian-Silesian region. The operator describes it as serving infant swimming, nursery and school swimming and swimming for the general public, in an outdoor and an indoor pool with accompanying attractions. No pool total is published; the operator's enumeration of the site runs: a 25-metre swimming pool, a relaxation pool, massage jets, water spouts, a waterfall, an outdoor pool, a water slide 48 metres long, a children's paddling pool, a whirlpool, saunas (Finnish, steam and infrared), refreshments, massages and a swimming school. The operator adds that in 2014 the wellness area was extended with an outdoor whirlpool and an outdoor cooling pool. No opening year for the centre itself is published on the site.

Water temperatures are published as a table and are ordinary heated pool water, not thermal or mineral: the swimming pool at 28 ºC, the relaxation pool at 30 ºC, the indoor whirlpool at 33 ºC and the outdoor whirlpool at 35 ºC, with the air in the swimming hall given as 30 ºC. The site also carries live lane-occupancy and attendance graphs, which are not reproduced here.

The pool is open Monday to Thursday 6:00–21:00, Friday 10:00–21:00 and at weekends and on public holidays 8:00–21:00. The outdoor part is seasonal: the operator states that "Venkovní část aquacentra včetně venkovního brouzdaliště je otevřena za hezkého počasí od 1.6. do 31.8. v době od 9:00 do 19:00" — open in good weather from 1 June to 31 August, 9:00 to 19:00. Admission is sold by time rather than by day: full adult admission is 140 Kč for one hour, which from Monday to Friday carries a second hour free, with each further minute charged; reduced admission for children from 3 to 15, students up to 26, over-65s and ZTP cardholders is 100 Kč on the same terms, children under 3 enter free, and early swimming from 6:00 to 7:45 is charged at a flat 80 Kč for adults and 70 Kč reduced. Family and group discounts are published, and the operator notes that group discounts do not apply to the sauna.

At the time of writing the centre is shut for its regular annual maintenance. A notice published on 25 August 2026 states "Od 1.9. do 20.9. proběhne pravidelná odstávka aquacentra", and the banner on the aquacentre pages reads "Od 1.9. do 20.9. ZAVŘENO". This is a planned shutdown, not a closure of the business, and operation is due to resume after 20 September.
