Nautica

Nautica is the swimming and recreation centre of the Gorzyce commune in the Silesian Voivodeship, close to the Czech border, run by the municipal institution whose full name the site prints as Gminny Ośrodek Turystyki, Sportu i Rekreacji „Nautica” w Gorzycach; the footer gives its address as “ul. Bogumińska 31 44-350 Gorzyce”, and the house brands itself simply Nautica. The water is neither geothermal nor drawn from a mineral spring: no well, source or thermal water is mentioned anywhere on the operator's pages, and the pools are plain heated water. The only mineral element is salt brought in — two spa tubs are filled with brine made from Kłodawa salt, and the dry salt rooms are lined with salt blocks.

The sports side is a single hall pool, given as “długość 25 metrów i szerokość 12,5 metra, temp. wody 27°C”, split into six lanes with wave-breaking lines and overlooked by a first-floor spectators' gallery; swimming courses for children and adults, aqua aerobics, Aqua Bike, gymnastics for over-60s and the training sessions of the Aligator swimming club share it, so the reservation timetable matters. The recreation side is a shallow pool with water at about 30 °C and depths from 10 cm to 1 m, with several kinds of hydromassage, free toys and space for water volleyball. Beside it runs what the operator calls the largest water tunnel in the region, with wall and floor jets, an umbrella, water cannons, a cascade and a rain shower at about 30 °C, switched on from a control panel by the bather. A standard jacuzzi and an outdoor playground complete the set; there is no sauna anywhere on the site.

The brine zone (Strefa solankowa) holds two round six-person spa tubs filled with brine from Kłodawa salt, described as a bath at about 34 °C acting as a whole-body massage from air bubbles, and an intimate grotto for two people where a stay of at least 25 minutes is recommended for the upper airways. A second salt room, the Grota solna z tężnią, is a dry room lined with salt blocks, with lit salt icicles hanging from the ceiling and a graduation tower in the middle producing a salt aerosol; entry is for at most two people at a time, with a towel and in silence, and is arranged with the lifeguard. The two pages disagree on the origin of the salt in the grotto and the disagreement is left standing here: the brine-zone page attributes the blocks to the Kłodawa salt mine, the salt-grotto page calls them natural Himalayan salt blocks.

The pool opens Monday to Friday 7:00–22:00 and at weekends and on holidays 9:00–21:00, with the hall to be cleared 15 minutes before closing; the free multi-purpose sports pitches outside are open 7:00–21:00 from 1 March to 30 November. The price list for 2026 is published only as a downloadable PDF, so no figures are quoted here. One attraction is out of use: the slide page still describes a 63-metre flume with a 5-metre drop ending in a landing tub, but an operator notice of 6 July 2026 states that the slide has been taken out of service for replacement and that the break will last longer than hoped, while the sports and recreation pools, the salt grotto, the recreation zone, the jacuzzi and the water tunnel stay open.
