Both the pool and the spa are temporarily closed, reopening 28 September and 1 October respectively.

About

The Centro Acquatico di Cavalese is run by SAGIS Srl, the company that also operates the Cavalese ice stadium, the Palafiemme hall, the sports field and the tennis courts; its administrative office is at Via F.lli Bronzetti 64 in Cavalese, in the Val di Fiemme in Trentino. The centre is a year-round indoor pool with a leisure and wellness offer rather than a lane-only municipal bath, and it is sold under the label ACQUA and SPA. Admission is time-based: day tickets, 2.5-hour tickets, ten-visit cards and four-month passes, with an overtime charge for every additional 30 minutes, a 20 per cent discount for residents of Cavalese and Ville di Fiemme, and a 10 per cent discount with the Fiemme-Cembra and Sudtirols Suden guest cards. Swimming caps are compulsory for everyone and children under 12 must be accompanied. Swimming courses are handled by a separate club, Amatori Nuoto Fiemme.

The main basin is a five-lane pool of 25 by 10.5 metres, homologated by the Italian swimming federation and held at a constant 27 degrees, which the operator presents as suited to training in all its forms. Alongside it are four indoor whirlpool tubs and one outdoor tub at 32 degrees, reached from inside without leaving the water, so that bathers can sit in the open air facing the Lagorai chain. The children's area holds the Laguna pool at 33 degrees and a slide 81 metres long, open only at set times, and in summer the outdoor garden and solarium add a small Laghetto pool for children, sun loungers for hire and lawn space. Indoor rest areas, a self-service bar with vending machines and changing facilities complete the building.

The wellness side is a separate spa in the centre of Cavalese, at Via Rossini 3, admitting only guests over 16. It holds a Finnish sauna, a bio sauna, a steam bath, a cold plunge tub, an ice waterfall, a Kneipp circuit and reviving showers, with indoor and outdoor relaxation zones, a herbal-tea room and its own changing rooms. Aufguss rituals are led at fixed times by a qualified Aufgussmeister. Swimming costumes are forbidden in the saunas, where a cotton towel or thermal underwear must be worn instead, and tickets are sold either as sauna plus pool or as spa only.

The water is plain heated water; nothing on the operator's pages describes it as thermal, mineral or brine, and the temperatures quoted are technical set-points rather than spring temperatures. At the time of writing both halves of the operation are shut. The pool page states that it is temporarily closed and will reopen on Monday 28 September, and the wellness page gives Thursday 1 October; no cause is given for either closure, and no regular weekly timetable is published while the notices stand.
