Törökszentmiklósi Városi Strandfürdő és Kemping

The Törökszentmiklósi Városi Strandfürdő és Kemping is a municipal thermal bathing complex with an adjoining campsite in the town of Törökszentmiklós, Hungary. Set on a roughly 40,000 m² tree-filled green area, the facility was established in 1962 and combines an outdoor and year-round bathing operation with medicinal (gyógyvíz) thermal water. The camping section was added in 1980, and the site was renovated in 2010.

Thermal and medicinal water

The bath is supplied by two thermal wells producing water at 62°C, together with two cold-water wells. The water is described as a medium-salt sodium-bicarbonate thermal water (hévíz) containing fluoride, bromide, iodide, and organic matter. It received official medicinal-water (gyógyvíz) certification on 27 December 2001. According to the facility, the water is suitable for treating rheumatic, gynaecological, and internal-medicine conditions.

Pools

The complex operates several pools with differing temperatures, depths, and surface areas:

• Beach pool: 30–32°C, depth 0.8–1.2 m, surface 260 m²
• Paddling pool for young children: 32–34°C, depth 0.4 m, surface 60 m², fitted with a children's slide
• Swimming pool: 26–28°C, depth 1.8–2.2 m, surface 275 m²
• Thermal pool: 36–38°C, depth 0.8–0.95 m, surface 262 m²
• "Retro" bench pool: 36–38°C, depth 0.6–0.86 m, surface 196 m²

An experience section is equipped with a wave machine, neck-massage feature, and water jets.

Treatments and wellness

The site offers a sauna, jacuzzi, solarium, and massage services. Health-insurance (TB) supported therapeutic treatments are provided. The sauna is available after 15:00 on Wednesdays and Sundays, with reservation required.

Camping and facilities

The adjoining two-star campsite offers eight wooden houses for up to eight people and six wooden houses for up to six people, with space for around 350 guests including caravans and tents. On-site amenities include a restaurant/buffet, a children's playground, a covered pavilion, and a beach-volleyball court. Night bathing is also offered.

Opening hours

In summer the bath is open daily from 8:00 to 20:00, with swimming tickets sold from 6:00 to 9:00. In winter it opens daily from 10:00 to 19:00. The stated season runs from 23 May to 30 September 2026.
