Törökszentmiklósi Városi Strandfürdő és Kemping

The Törökszentmiklós municipal beach bath opened in 1962 on a 40,000 m² site in a quiet, tree-filled green belt some 20 km from Szolnok, in Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county. It is owned by the town and run by the municipal utility Törökszentmiklósi Kommunális Szolgáltató Nonprofit Kft. Two thermal wells and two cold-water wells supply the pools; the operator gives the thermal wells as 62 °C and states the water was qualified as gyógyvíz in December 2001 under decision 601/Gyf/2001.

Five pools are listed, each with its own figures: a beach pool at 30–32 °C over 260 m², a paddling pool at 32–34 °C over 60 m², a 25 m swimming pool added in 2014 at 26–28 °C over 275 m², a medicinal pool at 36–38 °C over 262 m², and a seated “retro” pool, also 36–38 °C, over 196 m². The beach pool has a wave ball, neck massage and bubble jets, and a small slide stands in the children's pool. A playground, a covered pagoda, a sun terrace and a buffet complete the grounds.

Massage, a solarium and a sauna are available, the sauna after 15:00 on Wednesdays and Sundays and only with prior booking. The operator offers medical treatments subsidised by the national health insurance, and states that the medicinal pool suits rheumatic, gynaecological and internal-medicine complaints.

Summer opening is daily 08:00–20:00 and winter opening daily 10:00–19:00, and the medicinal pool runs all year. The adjoining two-star campsite opens 1 May to 31 October, and its guests enter the bath free.
