According to the bath, its water is drawn from a depth of 1,175 metres and emerges at a source temperature of 65°C. It is described as an iodine-bromine medicinal water (jódos-brómos gyógyvíz) with a total dissolved mineral content of about 10,924 mg/l. The stated composition includes sodium (around 3,900 mg/l), chloride (around 5,780 mg/l) and bicarbonate (around 880 mg/l), along with potassium, calcium, bromide, iodide, fluoride, boron, silica, iron, lithium, sulphide and phosphate.

The bath states that its water is used chiefly for joint and musculoskeletal conditions, and attributes to it anti-inflammatory, vasodilatory and metabolism-improving effects. On the medical side it offers therapeutic exercise (gyógytorna), physiotherapy (fizioterápia) and balneotherapy treatments (fürdőgyógyászati kezelések).
