Ellipsum Élményfürdő

Ellipsum Elmeny- es Strandfurdo is a leisure water complex in Miskolctapolca, part of Miskolc, built in two stages: the renovated open-air Strandfurdo (2015) and the indoor Elmenyfurdo, whose five ellipse-shaped halls give the complex its name. The indoor section has three age-themed halls with 6 indoor and 2 outdoor pools, 3 giant slides and further water attractions, with more than 1100 square metres of water surface; the Relax hall alone holds a chess pool, a bubble pool, a wellness pool and an adventure pool at 32-36C, plus an outdoor sitting pool reachable by a swim-out corridor at 36-38C. The outdoor Strandfurdo, open seasonally, adds a gradually deepening family pool at 29-31C (depth 0.2-1.1m) with a mini slide, and a 50-metre swimming pool at 27C and 2.2m depth used for swimming lessons and water polo matches. The sauna world offers a traditional Finnish sauna at 80-100C and an infrared sauna at 40-60C, alongside massage and aquafitness. The operator does not describe the water as thermal or medicinal; it presents the site as a leisure and swimming complex rather than a spa.
