Thermal Hotel Visegrád Gyógyfürdő

The Lepence Spa at Thermal Hotel Visegrád is a wellness and thermal bathing complex in the Danube Bend region of Hungary, open year-round. According to the venue, its indoor and outdoor facilities extend across roughly 3,000 m² and are fed by a natural mineral-quality thermal spring. The hotel has twice been named Wellness Hotel of the Year, in 2007 and 2015.

Thermal water

The bath draws on a spring that rises from a depth of 1,302 metres at 39.5 °C, described by the venue as mineral-water quality. The water is said to have astringent and anti-inflammatory effects, and to contain calcium, magnesium, hydrogen carbonate, and alkaloids.

Pools

The complex offers seven pools, six of them operating year-round: an indoor-outdoor experience pool, a heated outdoor swimming pool, thermal pools, and a children's splash pool, along with cold-water immersion pools for cooling off. The seasonal Acapulco summer beach pool, with a large sun terrace, runs from May to October. An Aquamarine pool bar serves bathers.

Sauna and wellness

Alongside traditional Finnish saunas, the sauna area includes a steam bath, an aromatic steam bath, an infrared sauna, and an aroma chamber, and a sauna master leads aromatic sauna rituals with gradual heating of the cabin. Further wellness features include a Turkish-style quiet rest area and experience showers.

Treatments

The spa provides massages, beauty care using the Hungarian-developed Balzsam Labor natural cosmetics line, hairdressing, and relaxation services. Massage treatment rooms have been part of a phased wellness renovation.

Opening hours

The bath is open daily from 8:00 to 21:00; external (non-hotel) bathers are admitted from 8:00 to 19:30.
