Termálfürdő és kemping

Letenye sits in the far south-west corner of Zala county, on the Mura and within sight of the Croatian border, and its thermal lido occupies three hectares of green ground next to the ancient park of the Szapary mansion, under old oaks and copper beeches. The site is laid out as a summer strand rather than an indoor spa: alongside the pools there is a campsite, a volleyball court and a beach football pitch, and the wide lawns are the point as much as the water. The town describes the guest mix as cross-border, with Croatian, Austrian and Slovenian visitors arriving alongside Hungarian ones.

The bathing water comes from a thermal source of 50 C, classified by the operator as calcium-magnesium-hydrogencarbonate. Four basins were built on it. The main pool measures 33 by 20 metres and is held at 28 C. A circular children's pool is shaded by UV-filtering sun sails, and a teaching pool sits under the same kind of shading; both are kept at 32 C. The warmest is the sitting pool at 34 C, which matches the temperature already recorded for this venue in the catalogue. The town notes that the pools are disinfected by a modern process that avoids the skin and eye irritation associated with older treatment.

Admission is sold as a simple day ticket, with reductions for children, students up to eighteen, pensioners and groups from eleven people upward; under-threes enter free. The campsite that gives the venue half of its Hungarian name is, at the time of writing, closed for technical reasons according to a notice at the top of the town's page, while the bath itself publishes a current season's price list. The site has no dedicated website of its own: everything published about it lives on a single tourism page of the Letenye municipal portal, which lists no opening hours, no season dates and no sauna or wellness facilities.
