Szilva Termál és Wellnessfürdő

Szilva Termál és Wellnessfürdő is a thermal and wellness bath in Vásárosnamény, in the Észak-Alföld region of eastern Hungary, open all year.

The water

The water is drawn from a well 700 metres deep and leaves the ground at 45 °C. The venue describes an alkaline bicarbonate thermal water carrying sodium, chloride and sulphate. According to the venue it acts on digestive, joint and chronic gynaecological conditions and supports the treatment of vascular disease.

Pools

Three pools are under cover — a thermal pool, a children's water playground and a swimming pool — with a further pool outdoors. A bubble pool belongs to the wellness section.

Sauna and wellness

The wellness area has a wet sauna, a dry sauna and a steam cabin, and massages are booked on site. A gym and a salt room operate on the same hours as the baths.

Visiting

The bath is open daily, including public holidays, from 9:00 to 20:30, with the pools clearing at 20:00. On the first Saturday of each month there is night bathing from 20:30 until 01:00, the pools closing at 00:30; on those days the daytime session ends at 19:30. An adult ticket is 3,800 HUF. The bath is at Beregszászi út 1/B.
