About

Nagyatádi Termál Strandfürdő is a thermal beach bath at Nagyatád, in the Southern Transdanubia region of Hungary — a summer bath around a year-round thermal pool, run by the town.

The water

The water arrives at 42 °C, the temperature of the warmest pool, with the others down to 29 °C. It holds the Hungarian gyógyvíz designation, an official medicinal certification, and sodium dominates the analysis. According to the venue it is used for musculoskeletal, rheumatic, gynaecological and digestive complaints, and for recovery after injury.

Pools

Four pools, each with its own temperature and depth. The 50-metre swimming pool has eight lanes at 26-27 °C and runs from 140 to 200 cm deep. The thermal pool is 100 cm deep and held at 34-38 °C. The leisure pool sits at 30-32 °C and 125 cm, with kamikaze and anaconda slides feeding into it, and the children's paddling pool is 35 to 55 cm deep at 32-34 °C.

Grounds

The site has playgrounds, an outdoor chess board, courts for volleyball, football and sand handball, snack bars, equipment rental, free parking and Wi-Fi.
