Kastélypark Fürdő

Kastelypark Furdo is a thermal bath in Fuzesgyarmat, in the Del-Alfold region of Hungary, on the grounds of a former Blankenstein family manor. A well drilled in the manor park in 1965 reaches the surface on its own at 62C, and in 2003 the water was officially certified as medicinal under the name Sarret Gyongye, a sodium-bicarbonate water with notable bromide, iodide and metaboric-acid content. The operator lists it as indicated for chronic inflammatory musculoskeletal disease, muscular-rheumatic conditions, after-care following bone and joint surgery or injury, chronic nerve inflammation and neuralgia, chronic lower back pain, after-care for Heine-Medin disease, chronic inflammatory gynaecological conditions, infertility, and general exhaustion. The bath has one 33-metre swimming pool at 27C, a 25-metre teaching pool at 28-30C, a children's paddling pool, a covered thermal experience pool at 36C, a semi-covered thermal pool at 37C, and an open-air thermal pool at 40C, plus a Finnish sauna with a plunge pool and an infrared sauna. The grounds are landscaped with lawns and shade trees, changing cabins, luggage storage, volleyball and basketball courts, table tennis, a seasonal snack bar, and a picnic area with a fire pit and gazebo.
